I am a mother, artist, and entrepreneur. I started out doing pencil drawings as a young teen. I put my pencil down after having my portfolio stolen as a young adult. It wasn't until my daughter came home in the third grade with a drawing of a Platypus she had drawn. It was so good I asked her if she traced it, but she hadn't. I knew then that I needed to teach her what I knew to help her build on her talent. So, after stepping away from art for years, I began drawing again and teaching her different techniques. Over the years, she took multiple art classes in school and learned to paint really well. She asked me to paint with her one day and taught me what she knew. Since then, I have been expanding my craft to different types of painting techniques and art.
